Vejer restaurants The gastronomy of Vejer has a wide variety
of products from land and sea. The excellent quality of the
vegetables, of the Retinto meat, from animals pastured in our
own land, from the fish of our coast, and the superb lebel of
the traditional recipes (stewed cabbages, asparagus, loin in
fat, sweets...) gives the traveller the chance to enjoy a good
meal. A la carte cuisine: Elaborate dishes. Creative gastronomy. Modern-Mediterranean Traditional cooking: They focus their offer in typical products and traditional dishes. Inns: Large snacks, combined dishes... in a typical enviroment. Fish and shellfish: We find this particularly on the Vejer coast, on the El palmar beach. International cuisine: We have restaurants that offer their specialities in Moorish-Andalusian, Italian and French cuisine. We should not forget the possibility
of visiting our wine cellars, in which the typical wines of
the area can be enjoyed: Fino Marisquero, Clarito, Moscatel

PINTO This rustic Meson is located in the Barca de Vejer (just outside the town). A classic spot for locals and visitors alike offering delicious local cuisine, specialising in meat dishes. They are famous for their pork sandwiches with butter as well as their sweets and pastries. IL
FORNO RESTAURANT Also situated at the foot of Vejer, this has become
a gastronomy hotspot attracting a large crowd every night to
sample their Italian dishes. Be prepared to queue. TRAFALGAR

Reasonable prices and good-sized portions. Good selection of meat, fish and omelettes. VERACRUZ
RESTAURANT A French oasis in the middle of Vejer. Different cooking in a unique atmosphere: a 16th century chapel. Meats, snails and a range of surprising but excellent dishes. EL
JARDÍN DEL CALIFA RESTAURANT
LA
POSADA RESTAURANT Very popular restaurant focussing on Andalucian
cuisine, specialising in meat dishes. Try the dark red meat
and the selection of Iberian prepared meats. LA
JUDERÍA RESTAURANT Simple but good establishment with the added attraction of its great location and unique views of the town. Traditional home cooking offering local specialities.
LA CHANCA RESTAURANT Overlooking the sea and housed in a 16th century tuna fishing factory this restaurant is a famous throughout the province for its excellent fish and seafood.
